Flexible Spending Accounts

Around 90 percent of employees work for companies who offer a Flexible Spending Account (FSA, Flex Account) to help lower net healthcare costs. FSAs allow you to use pre-taxed income on medical expenses including deductibles co-payments and medical expenses not normally covered by medical insurance like eyeglasses, refractive surgery, even aspirin and bandages.

Using an FSA to pay for Laser Eye Surgery could save you significantly. Check with your benefits manager at work to find out if Flexible Spending Accounts or Health Spending Accounts are offered by your company.

Insurance Discounts May Apply

Some plans may cover at least part of LASIK. Ask the insurance company or your employer what your plan covers. If the insurance covers LASIK, we accept most types of insurance including PPO, HMO and private insurance.

Tax Deduction Benefit
If you itemize your tax return, LASIK can be tax deductible. Check with your tax expert for details.

Fees for LASIK are all-inclusive covering your initial consultation, comprehensive eye exam, LASIK measurements, your procedure and all post-operative care for up to one year. Enhancement procedures (if needed) are provided at no surgeon’s charge for a period of one year following your initial treatment.

If you would like to find out more about how we can help you realize your desire to have the refractive procedure of your choice, please contact us at 281-420-EYES(3937) or Schedule Online
